Pjesma u dijalogu / Dialogue poetry

u kafani

kafana
nije
laka

što se to

da se kriješ
na ulici

na tuđoj butini

na tuđem

aerodrom

vratio sam se
živio sam pakao
živio sam ljubav

ljubav nije tamo
gdje su me
vodili

You surely know of ‘prose poetry’, a short literary form that combines the features of poetry and prose, which in literary theory are traditionally considered as separate literary genres. In the study of poetry, ‘prose poetry’ is usually placed next to the ‘free verse’, because, just like it, it means a modernist attempt to decompose traditional lyrical forms.

And what would a ‘dialogue poetry’ look like? Today we are sharing an example of a ‘dialogue poetry’ from an unpublished collection of poems named Never touching the stone beach shore.

I lived in love

Never touching the stone beach shore, (p.37).
